Game Setting

Multiverse

FIRST EARTH

Although the existence of other dimensions had been speculated on for some time, it wasn’t until 1953 that the extent and structure of the multiverse was first properly discovered and scientifically studied. With the discovery of the existence of alternative Earths, it became necessary to classify them with their own names, starting with what had once been assumed to be the Earth, which was officially designated as First Earth at a United Nations conference in 1957.

In spite of this, the usage of the name First Earth is rarely used outside dimensional science circles, with almost everyone else still referring to it simply as “Earth”.

REICH EARTH

The history of this dimension closely mirrored the history of First Earth, until World War Two – on Reich Earth, it was the Axis powers that triumphed, under the command of the ruthlessly brilliant superpowered commander Reichsmarschall Blitzkrieg, and the nightmare dictatorship of the Nazis was eventually extended across the whole world.

Following Hitler’s death in 1975, Blitzkrieg became the second Führer of the World Reich, and his power and apparently immortal lifespan seem to suggest that there may never need to be a third Führer.

TEMPLE OF INFINITY

The Temple of Infinity floats serenely in the multi-colored star-clouds of the Eternity Nebula in the very heart of the multiverse where time and space are one.

Within the temple resides The White Lady, the entity that assembled the Starlight League, and who still guides them to this day, the temple being the League’s headquarters and home to their fleet.

During the Machine War Crisis, the Temple of Infinity was badly damaged by the Automatons of Mekanos as they sought to remake the multiverse in their own image and annihilate all organic life.
