Art Update 11/30/2017

Unread postby Golden Girl » Fri Dec 01, 2017 3:52 am

To mark the anniversary of the closure of 'City of Heroes', we have a small art update featuring the in game models of a few more of our NPCs, starting with the veteran street hero Watchdog, a member of the Paragons supergroup:

The villain Gorth, the leader of the Lost World Reptoids, the twisted hybrids of humans and dinosaurs created by Lord Sorcero’s blend of science and dark magic:

The heroine Sigrune, also known as Shield Maiden, a Valkyrie and a member of the Legion supergroup:

Excellent!

Peripherally related, whoever redesigned the TCTA logo on the tram station (also excellent) made a HUGE improvement to it. Please throw mine away. :D

It's not so much about improving it, it's just that sometimes what works in 2D doesn't always work when it's turned into 3D.

Lovely. Can we see something more than concept art or character rigs that could be made in a few hours with maya or blender? How about something in game? I signed up here almost 3 or 4 years ago to do writing work and we seem no farther along now.

All of the game systems are all very tightly interlocked, so we need to make sure that all of them are working correctly together before we demo what we've been developing.
