Right no i understand that what i did with sony however is what i had pictured what this would be more like. Stuff that isn't exactly fun but more like how can we break the game so we can fix that before it goes live.

Collision detection, buttons doing what they are supposed to, crashing the game through a certain process, stuff like this then writing a report of procedure so that they can reproduce it and construct a fix. That said even general feedback is good but that is much later in the process from this as far as I understand at the moment.

Yeah most QA stuff is impossibly dull. Walk the wire frame around the room. Wave the arms to watch for clipping. When the flight kicks in, fly through stuff and see what happens. Yeah, getting a sneak peek is cool but looking at the bolts of the car is nowhere near as sexy as looking at the car.

We're still at the self-testing stage, but once we need a larger pool of testers, we'll make sure people know about it.

As this thread could be somewhat misleading for people who've not visited the forum that often, we're going to move it to the archive section for now.
